The World Football Summit is one of the world’s most influential football conventions. Being the host city, Hong Kong demonstrates its increasingly influential role on the global sports scene as an ideal host city for both sports events and MICE events for the sports industry. HKTB also extended its warm hospitality by thoughtfully arranging immersive tours of Hong Kong for the visiting football legends and Summit guests, enriching their business travel experience. We will continue to bring more large-scale international MICE events to Hong Kong, so as to attract more high-yield, overnight MICE visitors to the city.

With our debut in Hong Kong, we’re building a platform for long-term collaboration, investment, and innovation in the region’s game. We believe Hong Kong can become a bridge between East and West for football, driving growth and unlocking new opportunities for the game across the region. As the inaugural edition in Hong Kong, the summit was a tremendous success, and we are delighted with the outcome. We attracted the best lineup of speakers to the city. Hong Kong serves as an exceptional gateway to Chinese Mainland, one of the world’s most significant countries, and to the entire Asian market. This event marks the first of many annual editions we look forward to celebrating here, with each expected to grow bigger and better than the last.

The World Football Summit has chosen one of the best possible locations. Hong Kong is a bridge, and an ideal link between the Western and the Eastern cultures. The quality of the services is really top of the art. Hong Kong is a real cosmopolitan hub for engaging with different stakeholders like clubs, sponsors and broadcasters. It is perfect also for us as FIFA to consider Hong Kong a sort of opportunity to present ourselves to the local community and to the Far East fans.
